This magnificent humidor required a very extensive restoration process. The wood of the humidor had been painted a putrid orange, and all of the hardware was painted black. After careful stripping of the paint we were able to uncover an absolutely stunning oak humidor that is now in pristine condition. This humidor has exquisite detailing on the lock escutcheon, "Cigars" filigree, and corner accents that make it a very impressive humidor. All the hardware on this humidor is in excellent condition, but no key is available.

This beautiful oak humidor is without a doubt the finest vintage humidor that we have ever had the opportunity to restore. A very rare and unique design that we have never seen before. This humidor is signed by Theodore B. Starr, New York. Mr. Starr was in business until 1924, and this humidor dates to the turn of the century. The matching feet, corners, handles, and the medallion are all finished in bronze, and the medallion is not engraved. No key is available.
